DAY 97 (11 JULY) – Snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus) (Vejer, Spain)
Well here’s a surprise. Last time I saw snapdragons was in my mother’s suburban London garden. But here they are, thoroughly at home, on a ledge at the Divino Salvador church.
It’s official: crevices and walls in the Mediterranean region are their natural habitat. And these particular snapdragons often have to share with a group of dozy pigeons, but there was no sign of them today.
