DAY 190 (12 OCTOBER) – Henbit? (Clamium amplexicaule) (Farnham)

Yes, yes, I know the flower on the right is a petunia. But what are the strange, pink-tinged leaves in the left-hand picture? Both are attached to these long, dead strings from a hanging basket on the high street. Today was a miserable, continuous downpour. So this was a dash-out-dash-in photo. All I can say is that ‘Clamium’ absolutely sums up the experience.
